The Global Entrepreneurship Leadership Fellowship (GELF) is a prestigious fellowship designed to empower entrepreneurial leaders across Africa and the global diaspora to drive innovation, ethical leadership, and public-private transformation. Fellows engage in executive education, mentorship, and strategic project development.

The Global Entrepreneurship Leadership Fellowship (GELF) is more than a program—it’s a movement to cultivate a new generation of visionary leaders who are shaping the future of Africa and the global diaspora through innovation, ethical leadership, and transformative enterprise.

GELF is designed for entrepreneurial changemakers who are not only building businesses but also driving systemic change in their communities and industries. Through a dynamic blend of executive education, mentorship, and strategic project incubation, fellows gain the tools, networks, and insights needed to lead with purpose and scale impact.

Whether you're launching a tech startup, leading a social enterprise, or transforming public-private partnerships, GELF equips you to:

  GELF is hosted by the Global Entrepreneurship Leadership Center, a flagship initiative of Djaha & Company in partnership with the Africa-Israel Economic Cooperation Committee, the AIECC Africa-Israel Foundation, and is deeply rooted in the values of inclusive growth, digital empowerment, and leadership excellence.

• Executive Education
  Fellows participate in curated learning modules led by global experts, covering:

  • Strategic leadership

  • Innovation and systems thinking

  • Public-private transformation

  • Ethical governance and impact measurement

• Mentorship & Coaching
  Each fellow is matched with a mentor from a global network of entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders to guide their personal and professional growth.

• Strategic Project Development
  Fellows design and incubate a transformative initiative aligned with their leadership vision and community needs. Projects may span sectors such as technology, education, health, climate, and civic innovation.

• Global Networking & Exposure
  Fellows engage with peers, partners, and institutions through virtual and in-person convenings, leadership forums, and collaborative labs.

GELF welcomes applications from:

• Emerging or established entrepreneurial leaders

• Individuals with a demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership and innovation

• Residents of Africa or members of the African diaspora

• Applicants with a strategic project ready for development or scaling

Applicants must also:

• Be entrepreneurial leaders in business, government, or civil society.

• Demonstrate a track record of impact and innovation.

• Show commitment to ethical leadership and inclusive development.

• Be fluent in English or French (program languages).

• Be available for full participation in all fellowship activities.

• Fellowship Length: 6–12 months

• Format: Hybrid (virtual sessions + optional in-person convenings)

• Start Date: October 10, 2025

• Application Deadline: November 20, 2025

• Interviews: November 22-December 20, 2025

• Final Selection: December 25, 2025

• Fellow Announcement: December 29, 2025

By the end of the program, fellows will:

• Have developed a strategic, scalable project

• Strengthen their leadership and innovation capabilities

• Join a lifelong network of GELF alumni and partners

• Be positioned to influence policy, business, and community transformation
